These were some lyrics to a (rad and totally not dorky) song my sister and I sung in a children’s choir performance back in the day. Every year on the last day of school, I find myself singing that song one more time.
Summer is here!!! That can bring a mix of emotions to all of us. While it is pretty great not to have to make the kids get up quite as early and get to enjoy the sun and pool and friends, summertime can also be kind of challenging because the schedules and routines are out of whack.
So, to hopefully start your day off in some sort of a routine, here are a couple of summer Bible studies that you can do with your kiddos. Each study has a different focus, but they all point to Jesus as our Savior, Lord, and King and our need for Him. There is a Bible passage for each study that your family can memorize throughout the summer. I try to throw in some fun crafts/activity ideas here and there so you can have a few more things up your sleeve for those “I’m bored” sort of days.
Hope your summer is filled with joy-even on the hard days-“for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
